This year at THE PLAYERS, The Jim & Tabitha Furyk Foundation will be recognized as the Charity of the Day on Tuesday, May 8th. While the foundation was created in 2010 to help children and families on the First Coast, they have touched so many in our community. With Jim’s active participation on the PGA TOUR and Tabitha’s work here in Jacksonville with many of our local charities they have been a driving force in generating charity dollars for those who need it most.
Jim & Tabitha Furyk have worked very closely with the PGA TOUR, THE PLAYERS, The PGA TOUR Wives Association to help bring awareness and funding to a variety of groups in our area including The Hubbard House, The Malivai Washington Youth Foundation, Blessings in a Backpack, Community PedsCare and Wolfson Children’s Hospital to name just a few. “We are grateful to be apart of the PGA TOUR family for over 20 years now. It is from our experiences on the Tour that we were able to develop our own foundation to help so many” said Tabitha Furyk. Jim added “This is a special opportunity to be recognized for our work within the community at THE PLAYERS”.
We hope that you will come out to THE PLAYERS and enjoy the Jim & Tabitha Furyk Charity Day with the concluding Military Appreciation concert featuring Luke Combs. Thank you for your support!
