The Jim & Tabitha Furyk Foundation in partnership with Everbank, the PGA TOUR Wives Association and THE PLAYERS have created yet another “These Kids Can Play” to celebrate the Community PedsCare families and all of the challenges they face on a daily basis. The 2018 These Kids Can Play has an Art theme this year! While our usual favorites will be on site, which includes The Jacksonville Zoo and Books-A-Go-Go we will also have MOCA and Natural Life joining us to create an Art-tastic morning at THE PLAYERS!
These Kids Can Play was created to give the children from Community PedsCare and Wolfson Children’s Hospital a chance to enjoy a day at THE PLAYERS, complete with activities specifically tailored to their health needs. The families will play “18 holes” where each space offers art related activities as an outlet for expression. Each child will receive a special gift bag and photo opportunities with the PGA TOUR players who have included, Jim Furyk, Steve Stricker, Justin Leonard, Kevin Kisner, Billy Horschel, and so so many more! These children with life limiting/life threatening conditions along with their families come to enjoy a VIP experience, which can include meeting animals from the Jacksonville Zoo, face-painting, photo booth fun, competing on the 17th Challenge and best of all, hanging out with PGA TOUR players and their wives. This year we will be donating over $60,000 to Community PedsCare to support the work & programs that they offer our community.
